Our story
The Opinions was founded by Faizan AK Azaad — a web developer, writer, and student of English at the University of Science & Technology, Bannu. Faizan saw how many talented students and young writers around him never really got the chance to have their thoughts read, so he set out to design and build a platform where that could change.
The idea was simple: give students and teachers — especially those just starting out — a place to share their academic, literary, and creative writing, and a way to read what others have written too. The Opinions exists to carry ideas from one mind to another, to encourage writers who might otherwise stay quiet, and to pull students and the wider university community toward writing, thinking, and creativity.
What began as one person's idea has grown into a working platform, with member submissions reviewed by a small team, the best of them published for readers everywhere, and PDF books made available alongside them.
